Arthur E. Appel, MD, FACP

Dr. Appel, a board-certified internist and nephrologist has a private practice in Pearl River, NY and is a Senior Attending physician at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He takes care of patients with both acute and chronic medical problems and is an expert in treating patients with common and rare kidney diseases, and in managing care for the chronically ill. He teaches wellness and good health and promotes preventive care to reduce patients risk of chronic and acute illness.

Dr. Appel is also a subspecialist in nephrology. This means that he takes care of people who have conditions like hypertension, treats patients with all types of symptoms and conditions, and specializes in hypertension, kidney stones, urinary infections, gout, kidney diseases, such as diabetic nephropathy, and other primary diseases of the kidneys.similar problems.
